Seafood Capital

Captivating Capiz, The Province of Capiz is also known as the seafood capital of the Philippines. It occupies a land area of 2,633 square kilometers, representing 21% of the total land area of Panay. It is composed of 16 municipalities and a city with a total of 472 barangays. There is a legend about how Capiz got its name and it goes like this: Balingangan, Datu Bankaya’s eldest son, named his two territories Kapid and Akean (twin) in honor of his twin daughters Bulan and Adlaw (moon and sun). Spaniards who later settled in the area adopted the names of Capiz and Aklan. Roxas City is the Province Capital of Capiz, This city was named Roxas City in honor of its most illustrious son, the first president of the Republic of the Philippines, President Manuel Roxas.

 Roxas City Capiz is Famous for its festival Sinadya sa Halaran, It was previously celebrated seperately, Sinadya sa Halaran is celebrated every December 8 and it is celebrated for 3-5 days. Every Sinadya sa Halaran Festival is accompanied with contests and one of the famous contest is the contest of tribes(tribu). Every tribe is compose of drumers and warriors(dancers). they will be judged according to there performance in dancing and playing drums. many tribes joins this competition, some of the tribes are the alikabok tribe, tribu dos, moranthoy tribe, tribu ubay, kauswagan etc. last competition the kauswagan tribe is the winner.

Another Festival Capiz is known for is the Aswang festival which is celebrated towards end of october in keeping with the spirit of all souls day which is celebrated in other places as halloween. in previous years, this festival was greaty disfavored by local church leaders, the parish even proposed a boycott of the festival. they said that it promotes belief in aswang and scares the children. But the true objectives of the festival is first, to reverse the negative image of Capiz as a haven of aswang and remove the stigma attached to the word, Second is to promote economic growth by helping small businesses and the third is to promote Capiz as a good tourist destination by highlighting its famous seafoods products, fine beaches and other local scenery.

The newly opened people’s park of Roxas City Capiz, seems like to be an imitation of the famous bay walk in manila. People are captivated by the new scenery that took over the plain old beach in Roxas City. it was built for the purpose as an attraction for persons who are fund to be outdoors and nature loving. the out louring clear waters, the fresh ocean breeze and the breath taking views are only a few of the many attractions of the said park.

Roxas City is indeed gifted with many wonders and raw beauties that needs to be process in order to become a marvel. it is also gifted with multi talented people with superb intellect gifted with boundless creativity with there imaginations as the limit. still so many gardens of nature in the Province of Capiz are left to be discovered and waiting for human intervention. Nature and Capizeños are working hand in hand to enhance the natural beauty that the divine creator had given to the people to be in there custody. Capizeños are being a good stewards in preserving and enhancing these gifts. Yes this is true among Capizeños and im speaking as an advocate and as a true Capizeño by heart.

      It was grade five when i think i have already cope up with my classmates. a finished my high school also here in Filamer Christian College. it was a happy and unforgettable high school life because of my classmates and also my teachers who considered my as there family and i considered them as my family as well. at first i thought that my Filamer life would end up in 1998 when i was about to graduate my high school because i though that i would continue my schooling in Central Philippine University in iloilo where my brother studied, but because my brother find it hard for him to finish his course there. my parents decided not to school there and continue my schooling also here in Filamer Christian College. at first i think it would be boring because i have spent almost all of my school life here in filamer.

      I want a new environment for my college life but it end up find here in filamer christian college. what i like here in filamer is that i am not new in the school which made it easy for me, i am familiar which the faculty and staffs because i am not new in the school, i already have many friends in the school, i already new the rules and regulations of the school, it is a christian school and many more. my life here in filamer was a great life. full of unforgettable memories bad and good. in conclusion, my life here in filamer was fun, full of memories and it was great. when i graduate and have a family, i want my children to enroll in filamer christian college and finish their study here also..

For the DotA map, two bases are set at opposite corners of the map. In each base is situated a central building known as the Ancient, from which the map derives its name. The goal of the game is to destroy the Ancient of the opposing team and to defend one’s own ancient. Ancients used for each team are commonly The Frozen Throne/World Tree (in the variants Classic, Allstars); and the normal Town Centers for either side (in the variant Outland). Three lanes join the two bases. A river runs diagonally through the center of the map, perpendicular to the three lanes. Each team has a number of defensive towers in each lane, placed on their side of the river.

The teams consist of up to five players, each controlling a single hero, and a computer which controls creeps. Standard variants do not support the artificial intelligence (AI) for computer controlled heroes. A variant known as DotA Mercenaries has allowed more computer controlled players, and is commonly used for training purposes or when other human players are not available to play with. Some developers are coming up with test versions of DotA maps with variable-skill AI players. The latest being Cloud_str who created dota allstars 6.27b AI.

The opposing bases produce troops, known as creeps, every 30 seconds, beginning at 1 minute 30 seconds, except in league mode and random draft, in which creeps spawn at the 3 minute mark. The creeps are produced in sets (also known as waves or spawns) composed of a number of melee units and a single ranged unit, and path down the three lanes available on the map towards the opposing team’s base. The creeps for the Scourge are composed of several Ghouls and a single Necromancer, while the creeps for the Sentinel are composed of several Treants and a single Druid of the Talon. As the creeps travel along these lanes they will battle any opposing creeps, heroes, or towers they meet. Towers possess superior firepower compared to the creeps, so it is difficult for creeps to advance past towers without assistance of a hero.

Certain versions of DotA (e.g. Allstars and Mercenaries) have Runes in the river which can be picked up by any hero to gain bonuses for a short time (such as Double Damage, Regeneration, Haste, Illusion and Invisibility), while other versions have different uses for Runes (e.g. Challenge activation in Outland).

Without the influence of heroes, the game cannot quickly be won by either team. Creeps will battle each other and then sacrifice themselves in futile attacks on the towers. However, in practice, there will usually be a slight imbalance of power over time due to the specific placement of towers, creep paths, and other variables (due to slight tweaks over a number of versions, the “advantaged” side varies). This imbalance, however, is so slight that the presence of even a single hero for any amount of time will negate it.

Introduction to Heroes
Heroes are ranked by level. Upon gaining a level, heroes receive bonus attributes (see below) and a skill point to be spent in learning a new or upgrading an existing skill. Heroes may gain levels during the game by earning experience. Experience can be earned by killing creeps, which is known as creeping or farming and by killing enemy heroes which is known as pawning which lets a hero earn much more experience points. Neutral creeps of varying difficulty are also planted throughout the map, and they may also be killed for experience and gold. Neutral creeps are not programmed to do anything except battle other characters who come too close; as such, they exist only to be killed for experience and gold. These neutral creeps vary in strength from very weak level one creeps, to very powerful ones which a whole team of high level heroes needs to fight in order to win (e.g. Roshan, in DotA Allstars). Although some heroes posses the capacity to defeat Roshan by themselves even at low levels(e.g. Ursa
